Warehouse Staff Member/Local Delivery Driver

This position is based at our Meherrin location in Williamsport, PA.

Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company occupies more than 40 locations along the eastern seaboard in the United States. Meherrin is a leading provider of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers to farmers.

Base pay: $13.00 per hour

Job Purpose

Meherrin Ag is seeking a warehouse -agricultural staff member with a strong work ethic, flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks. Ideal candidate will be willing to learn new skills and participate in different tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver products to customers as scheduled, both timely and with a positive attitude
  • Accurately build and stage loads for shipments
  • Operate forklift for loading and unloading shipments
  • Work on seed packaging line; bagging and tagging seed bags
  • Warehouse and agricultural processing
  • Assist in keeping inventory accurate and warehouse clean

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating a forklift or available to learn/train.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to follow direction.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours depending on seasonal demands.
  • Must be reliable, flexible and require minimal supervision.
  • Applicant must be self-motivated and work with a hands-on attitude being able to multi-task individually as well as working as part of a team.

Physical Demand

  • Must be able to lift 40–70-pound bags
  • Sitting down while driving from one destination to another
  • Work out in both hot and cold conditions

Customer Service Administrator

This position is based at our Meherrin location in Williamsport, PA.

Base pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Purpose

The Customer Service Administrator will assist the Customer Service Representative with daily tasks including but not limited to order entry, account management, statement and invoice processing, and answering inbound calls and directing calls as necessary. This role will be responsible for maintaining office supplies for the location. In addition to assisting customer service, this role may also provide support to other team members within Revere Seed. This position will report to Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists Customer Service Representatives on order entry
  • Supports Customer Service with account management and monthly statement runs
  • Maintains and updates filing systems, retrieves information from files as needed
  • Answers inbound calls, takes messages, and fields routine and non-routine questions as needed
  • Orders and maintains office supplies at location
  • Light cleaning to maintain the office and keep it presentable to visitors

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of High School diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service-related position required
  • Outstanding customer service skills required
  • Agricultural knowledge is beneficial
  • Professional telephone skills and etiquette required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and detail oriented
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude while dealing with multiple tasks

Work Environment

  • Mainly office setting. Sitting at a designated desk, walking around the office, interacting with other coworkers.
