Job description:
This position is based at our Meherrin location in Enfield, NC.
The Company
With more than 40 locations along the eastern seaboard in the United States, Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company is a leading provider of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers to farmers.
Pay: $16.50 – $18.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate bagging equipment
- Operate sealing equipment
- Blend fertilizer
- Load and unload trucks
- Help maintain all grounds around the warehouses
- Keep both warehouses clean and organized
- Occasional delivery
- Maintain and perform periodic maintenance on all equipment
- Forklift and skid steer loader operation
- Conduct processing invoices and transfer tickets
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Work well individually and among others
- Team Player
Physical Demand
- Lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Work out in both hot and cold conditions
