Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Lead to join our team in overseeing operations at our food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a solid understanding of FDA regulations and food safety standards.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
– Supervise and coordinate production team activities to ensure efficiency and quality output
– Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
– Monitor production lines to ensure they are operating effectively and meeting production goals
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment following CGMP, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines
– Oversee packaging, fabrication, and sanitization processes
– Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows
Qualifications
· 1+ year as a shift lead OR Associates Degree.
– Previous experience in a food processing plant or related industry
– Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety standards
– Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities·
Daily attendance to avoid interruption of production.
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
