Customer Service Administrator

This position is based at our Meherrin location in Williamsport, PA.

The Company

Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company occupies more than 40 locations along the eastern seaboard in the United States. Meherrin is a leading provider of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers to farmers.

Base pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Purpose

The Customer Service Administrator will assist the Customer Service Representative with daily tasks including but not limited to order entry, account management, statement and invoice processing, and answering inbound calls and directing calls as necessary. This role will be responsible for maintaining office supplies for the location. In addition to assisting customer service, this role may also provide support to other team members within Revere Seed. This position will report to Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists Customer Service Representatives on order entry
  • Supports Customer Service with account management and monthly statement runs
  • Maintains and updates filing systems, retrieves information from files as needed
  • Answers inbound calls, takes messages, and fields routine and non-routine questions as needed
  • Orders and maintains office supplies at location
  • Light cleaning to maintain the office and keep it presentable to visitors

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of High School diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service-related position required
  • Outstanding customer service skills required
  • Agricultural knowledge is beneficial
  • Professional telephone skills and etiquette required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and detail oriented
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude while dealing with multiple tasks

Work Environment

  • Mainly office setting. Sitting at a designated desk, walking around the office, interacting with other coworkers.
